Hunterlink National's CEO and Project MAnager, Gav and Fiona, travelled to Melbourne, to host 2 workshops for Farstad Shipping employees on resilience in the workplace and home life.
The workshops had roughly 30 Farstad Employees in attendance, the sessions covered what resilience means, how resilient we are as humans and how we adapt to our changing environment. The sessions provided the employees with the tools and resources to take back to their work and home life.
“Resilience is the process of adapting well in the face of adversity, trauma, tragedy, threats, or even significant sources of stress — such as family and relationship problems, serious health problems, or workplace and financial stressors”.
Resilience is so important and crucial in the work place and home life, as it give the person the ability to overcome challenges of all kinds- trauma, tragedy, personal crises, plain ‘ole’ life problems and bounce back stronger, wiser, and more personally powerful.
