National Services

At Hunterlink we change peoples lives, and we are very proud to say that sometimes we even save people's lives.

"I knew this was my last chance. I had been told to make contact with Hunterlink. This was a turning point in my life. They understood me and accepted me for who I am. They offered me unconditional support and assured me we would get through this. If Hunterlink can assist in saving a bloke like me, I believe they can save many more."

- Dave, Mining Worker

We know life can be tough at times, and that problems with drugs, alcohol, gambling, mental illness and other issues impact individuals, their families and their friends. At Hunterlink we understand the overwhelming sense of hopelessness people can feel, and we provide 24/7 support to help people overcome their demons, whatever they might be.

At Hunterlink we have helped people deal with issues around:

  • Stress and pressure at work
  • Bullying
  • Depression and anxiety
  • Anger management
  • Grief
  • Substance abuse
  • Relationship issues
  • Problem gambling
  • Financial issues
  • Social isolation

For some people the road to recovery is not long, for others it can take years. The Hunterlink team has worked with thousands of people, all who have different experiences as they recover. We are here to help everyone, and if you are in it for the long haul, so are we. We know every person's circumstances are different, and everyone needs a personalised approach to dealing with their issues. We have a team of expert staff who work one-on-one with people, and who are guaranteed to have experience with whatever it is people are dealing with.

Our experience also tells us that people find it tough to ask for help when they are troubled. Just the thought of asking for help, or disclosing mental health issues, can cause anxiety and stress for workers. They fear for the impact on their job, and on their relationship with colleagues.

To encourage people to seek help when they need it, workplaces benefit from having a proven Employee Assistance Program in place to ensure individuals in the workforce have access to expert help when needed. Having help available for individuals also benefits managers who don't have the skills or expertise to deal with some people's complex personal issues. An Employee Assistance Program ensures staff have access to support from a third party, offering them the security of knowing their privacy is protected and their colleagues and managers won't be privy to their personal issues.

People can call our helpline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
