At Hunterlink we change peoples lives, and we are very proud to say that sometimes we even save people's lives.

My mate was killed in a horrific workplace accident whilst we were at sea. I was standing right next to him when it happened. By the time we were alongside, a counsellor from Hunterlink was boarding the vessel to chat to us. He stayed with me and the boys for hours and I can tell you the support was great. I'm not much of a talker, yet I am still in regular contact with the counsellor from Hunterlink as my issues are ongoing."

The management of critical incidents can make or break an organisation and its people. Managed well, a critical incident will have ongoing ramifications for all involved for a long time. Managed poorly, a critical incident can devastate individuals, families and workplaces. At Hunterlink we have seen evidence of both. We know that the response to a traumatic event can affect long-term wellbeing, and you only get one chance to get it right. There is no predicting a critical incident but you can prepare for the worst and ensure your staff have the skills and confidence to perform under pressure.

Our staff have been helicoptered in to remote workplaces where suicides and accidents causing death have occurred. We are experienced in dealing with the most catastrophic workplace incidents, and we understand how managers and workmates react to these devastating situations. We can work with your team to ensure managers are trained to handle critical incidents, and we can guarantee they will need experts by their side during a crisis. We have flown to sites on land and at sea to provide expert support to teams during crisis situations. We provide immediate and ongoing help to people impacted by the situation - and we know that sometimes the people you least expect to be impacted are the ones who will need help.
